Meet Kristina
I've been on both sides of the table — as an operator and as an advisor.
Kristina Picciotti is a business exit planning advisor and the founder of Blue Frog Strategy. She started in accounting and operational leadership and eventually held roles including Controller, CFO, CEO, and Chief Strategist.
Over the years she helped companies implement financial systems, scale operations, and navigate strategic decisions — including preparing for and executing business sales.
Kristina grew an electronics recycling company to 150 employees with Fortune 100 and U.S. military contracts. In 2017, she successfully negotiated the sale of a major military contract — an achievement that required navigating complex government compliance and regulatory requirements.
In 2020, during the height of the global pandemic, Kristina purchased the company herself. Despite unprecedented economic challenges, she restructured operations, grew revenue, and ultimately positioned the business for a successful private equity exit in 2024.
Beyond her own exit, Kristina has helped other business owners negotiate deals and manage due diligence from the advisor seat.
She has also successfully exited her own companies. Through that experience she saw how easily business owners lose leverage when they don't understand how deals actually work.
The Vault exists because business owners deserve clarity before commitment.
Most owners only learn the mechanics of a business sale after the deal — when it's too late. Today, through The Vault and private advisory work, Kristina teaches sellers how transactions actually work — from preparation through closing.

Why the Blue Frog?

In the wild, the blue frog is bold, adaptive, fiercely aware of its environment, and impossible to ignore. It doesn't blend in — it stands out.
That symbolism matched perfectly with the kind of business transformation work I do:
Just like the blue frog, businesses succeed when they understand their environment, develop strong internal structures, and present themselves with confidence.
Blue Frog Strategy is named to honor that idea — small but mighty, striking in its presence, and built on the belief that preparation and awareness are the foundation of every successful transition.
